He actually said, “never say never”. Maybe the audience got whacked and Tony is still alive. The final scene was the audience looking through Tony's eyes - the paranoia. Whatever the situation, I enjoyed the ending as I reflect back. I was angry at first but I agree with the way it ended. It was a great show with the best episodes in seasons 1, 2 and 3.
