Kazmir - let's not go there, that hurts a lot. He led baseball in strikeouts this year and was 13-9 on Tampa Bay. He is 23 yrs old!

Johan Santana, Jake Peavey or Brandon Webb didn't have 13 wins on "Tampa" at 23 yrs old. Kazmir still has his best to come! He is going to be a solid pitcher for the next 8-12 years!

i do agree wih you BUT - someone should do the statistics - pre ricky henderson and after ricky and his card playing - also what were the statistics of reyes (henderson was supposed to help) after ricky came in - and of the other players who played his cards games daily
i do believe this team fell apart when ricky went back in the clubhouse

i pretty much agree. this team nearly made my head explode. and i really believe that they are the exact opposite of the hard-charging teams of '99 & '00 where they would show incredible heart by rallying in series and 9th-innings.

aah, at least this is representative. this is the core of being a mets fan.

yeah, totally agree with almost all of it. Maybe more bearish on LoDuca, although they need that sort of intensity from someone so you're probably right on that one too.

Minaya really screwed up when you add in that he not only didn't bring in any new pitchers (which I didn't argue with at the time I have to admit), but gave away guys that would have been useful like Heath Bell, Matt Lidstrom and Brian Bannister. For absolutely nothing.
